Bookkeeper
General Description:
Persons applying for the Bookkeeper position should have the qualities it takes to be part of a team. They will work closely with the management team and should be able to do so in a professional manner. At other times you will need to work independently on a task with minimal supervision and finish task in a timely manner. Flexibility and multi tasking is key to being successful in this position. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Professional, tasteful attire is expected.
Essential Functions:
Must be proficient in Quick Books Manufacturing Pro, Excel, Microsoft Word and have an accounting background. Must be able to process Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, & Payroll. Quarterly Reports, Monthly Financial Statements. Customer billing and Purchasing.
Must be able to compile complete and accurate budget and financial reports.
Must be highly organized and motivated. Willing to take initiative.
Must be able to pass a background check and be professional in dress and cleanliness.
Good oral communication skills using a telephone. Must know how to operate a multi-line phone system and be able to disperse calls to the appropriate person. Must be able to take accurate and complete phone messages.
Professional written and verbal communication skills for written correspondence and email. Must be able to write in a courteous and accurate manner.
Greet customers and sales people on the phone or those coming into our offices in a friendly and professional manner.
Must be able to research, build, and maintain E2 production database. Keep supply catalogs updated as they come in and filed correctly. Must be able to work long periods of time on a computer.
Must be able to use the Internet to research potential customers, and to find vendors and supplies.
Must be able to build reports, tables, and forms using Excel and Word. Will assist management team in all aspects of paperwork (making copies, filing, typing, product labels, etc.) and all other duties that are assigned. Skills in desk top publishing and graphics would be welcomed.
Literature: The Bookkeeper is in charge of sending out literature and product information in a timely manner. This person is in charge of keeping track of who receives sales tools.
Must be able to schedule appointments and keep day planner updated, and notify management team of appointments and upcoming scheduled events.

Sales Estimator
General Description:
Persons applying for the Sales Estimator position should have Sales skills and be able to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of an organization’s products and/or services. The job requires a combination of education & experience of 3-5 years in the field or in a related area. The applicant should be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They should be able to perform a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Essential Functions:
Obtaining the correct information from the customer to ensure that they are quoted correctly.
Build a new customer quote file or adding to an existing file. Type up a quote with all the pertinent information and send back to your customer using the E2 production database.
Build good and honest customer relations with the people you talk to on the phone, via e-mail or in person.
Read & familiarize yourself with our product notebook to be able to explain drawings and answer any questions that the customer may have. Must be proficient and thoroughly understand the Grifform web site so that you may assist customers in navigating their way through the web site and be able to accurately describe our products to the customer.
Have an understanding of how to read specification drawings.
When an order is placed, fill out the customer information sheets to ensure that all information is correct before it goes to design for approval drawings. Work with purchasing to make sure that materials and supplies have been ordered to assure that your customer’s product will ship out on time.
Send approval drawings to the customer and follow up with the customer to make sure orders don’t fall through the cracks. Send out shipping and receiving documents with the scheduled delivery date. Stay in communication with production to assure that your customer product is shipping on schedule.
The applicant should be able to work well under pressure of deadline dates.
Construction/Installation skills and knowledge would be very helpful.
Should be able to read specifications and blue prints and be able to extract information to quote a product or project that is requested.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and be able to present a clear DMV report.

Packaging - Detailer
General Description:
Persons applying for the Packaging - Detailer position should have the qualities it takes to be a team player. They need to work closely and effectively with their fellow co-workers in the dept. At other times an individual will need to work independently on a task with minimal supervision. Flexibility is the key to the applicant’s success at filling this position. This position has duties that require long periods of standing in one place and performing repetitive motion with shoulders, arms, hand, wrist, and elbows. The applicant should be able to work well under pressure of deadline. The applicant must have a valid driver’s license or ID and reliable transportation.
Essential Functions:
Knowledge of how, or ability to learn how to use orbital, palm and ½ sheet sanders and all hand tools safely and properly. Including but not limited to the following: drills, sanders, hammers, tape measure, and saws. Be willing to learn or have the knowledge to run all other power equipment that may be assigned to complete the task.
Able to move or lift at least 50 lbs. when moving product around on the floor, or when loading into trailers for shipment.
Able to physically stand for long periods of time performing repetitive motion, with shoulder, arms, elbows, wrists, hands, & fingers.
Able to follow written or oral instruction in English, to perform the job duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Able to learn the proper sanding procedures for the specific material used. Must have an eye for detail, but able to meet the production deadlines.
Able to learn how to correctly assemble products using company procedures. Complete assembly correctly and with in the production time lines set forth by supervisor.
Able to learn how to properly package products to the specification of the customer, and the company guidelines.
Willing to perform any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Standing for 7.5 hours/day in a production environment. All employees are required to wear safety glasses on the floor at all times. Hearing protection can be worn at all times if desired, but will be worn if supervisor instructs employees to do so.
Solid Surface Fabricator
General Description:
Persons applying for the Solid Surface Fabricator position should have the qualities it takes to be a team player. They need to work closely and effectively with their fellow co-workers in the department. At other times an individual will need to work independently on a task with minimal supervision. Flexibility is the key to the applicant’s success at filling this position. This position has duties that require long periods of standing. This position can also require long periods of repetitive motion with shoulder, arms, hands, wrists, and elbows. The applicant should be able to work well under pressure of deadline dates for product to be shipped to a customer and /or installed on time. They must have a valid driver’s license or ID and reliable transportation.
Essential Functions:
Must be able to work effectively in a fast pace environment and under pressures of deadlines.
Knowledge of how to use all hand tools safely and properly. Example but not limited to the following: Drills, tape measure, hammers, saws, clamps. Must be willing to learn or have knowledge to run all other power tools that may be assigned to complete the task. Learn the basic gluing and fastening fundamentals.
Requires knowledge and experience with shop math. Have knowledge of metric measurements.
Able to move or lift at least 50 lbs. when moving product around on the floor, or loading into the delivery truck for delivery. Able to train on driving the forklift for loading and offloading.
Able to stand for long periods of time performing repetitive motion with shoulders, arms, hands, wrists, elbows and fingers.
Able to follow written or oral instructions in English, to perform the job duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Able to correctly assemble product associated with the solid surface department. Complete assembly correctly by using measured drawings, and with in the production time lines set forth by supervisor.
Able to learn how to properly package products to the specification of the customer, and company guidelines.
